Pollen information for Salzburg from 25 June 2025
Main flowering of the grasses is over!
In Flachgau, the main grass flowering period is over. The pollen load varies depending on mowing, altitude and locally due to the post-flowering or late-flowering species.
In the inner mountains, there can still be a high pollen load, especially near mown meadows, and even in the low mountain ranges there is still a higher grass pollen count, as well as near cereal fields(rye or wheat).
Heat and dryness favour the flowering of plantain and goosefoot plants.
Locally, pollen from pine, lime, elder, nettle and meadowsweet is still in the air.
