Studies on local characteristics of the pollen allergy situation in Carinthia (Ferlach, St. Paul im Lavanttal, Kötschach-Mauthen, Mölltal, Friesach).

2006: Elected President of the Natural Science Association for Carinthia
2002: Started teaching at "Pädagogischen Hochschule Kärnten"
2000: Took over the scientific leadership of the pollen warning service of the Carinthian Provincial Government
1994: "Theodor Körner Prize" for the promotion of science and art for the work project "Comparison of pollen count between local sites in the Carinthian central region and the Klagenfurt urban area"

1979: Doctorate in the field of botany / pollen analysis
