The Ragweed Finder app allows mobile reporting of ragweed populations anywhere in Austria. Use the checklist to check if the plant you found is indeed ragweed, take a photo and report it to us.
An expert will check each report. You will, of course, be informed of their decision. All positive reports will be displayed on the ragweed map. There you can also view ragweed reports from previous years. Aside from causing allergies, ragweed also causes considerable costs in agriculture and road maintenance. Therefore, this citizen-science project was launched in 2017 to document the plant's spread and raise awareness among politicians. Thousands of reports have already been collected.
