Pollen protection grille Respilon® Window Membrane

New generation 6.0 even more permeable to air

Safe ventilation during the pollen season: the Respilon® Window Membrane nanofibre protective grille blocks out pollen, mould and fine dust. This keeps the room air fresh and free from pollen and polluted air.

Special protective filters on the windows are effective measures that prevent allergy and asthma triggers from entering the living space. The Respilon® Window Membrane protective screen is a particularly efficient barrier, as almost all pollutants have a larger diameter than the pores of this nanofibre membrane. This filters out pollen, mould and fine dust, reliably protecting allergy sufferers indoors and allowing them to sleep with the window open without any problems.

The Respilon® Window Membrane 5.0 already captures 100 % of pollen and well over 90 % of mould spores and fine dust particles (high levels of fine dust can increase the risk of allergies). This is shown by numerous tests - including a measurement by the Austrian expert for air quality measurements DI Peter Tappler.1 His test also showed efficient filtration of the very smallest fine dust particles (95 % PM1) and pollen (100 %).

Oxygen molecules, on the other hand, are smaller than the pores of the membrane, allowing sufficient fresh air to pass through. The new 6.0 version now offers even better air permeability with the same level of pollutant filtration.

The uniqueness of the Respilon® membrane lies in the nanofibre technology. Nanofibres are an extremely dense network of exceptionally fine fibres with a diameter of 500 to 800 nanometres. Pollen, for example, has a diameter of more than 1 micrometre.

The grids are easy to install, also have integrated UV protection and keep water droplets out when it rains.
