After the rainy period, mugwort pollen counts increase with the rise in temperature. Allergy sufferers should avoid the favoured locations on uncultivated areas and embankments, especially in the central and Danube region, where pollen from ragweed, which is also of allergological importance, and goosefoot p ollen also occur in isolated cases. On warm days, plantain can locally lead to moderate to severe allergic reactions in trampling and weed communities and at the edges of meadows.
